This week we welcomed 16 members and former member Paul Hamilton that came today to help us with the hockey pool auction.
Rotary Moment:
Vicente Asuncion brought us the Rotary Moment today, he told about how several Rotary clubs got together when the Second Narrows bridge was built and helped by planting trees where they had been cut down for the construction of the bridge.
Announcements:
* We have our yearly Hoopathon practice session at the Strath Community Centre on April 18 at 6:30 pm, followed by beers to reaffirm the newly acquired hooping skills.
* Hoopathon coming April 28th, time to go full speed ahead and get pledges!
* 2019 Rotary Peace Fellowship. Applications are due to the district by May 31st.

Meeting Program: Today we had our yearly hockey pool, everyone had a great time and we will now be watching the hockey scores closely!
