Join us for the Rotary World Polio Day Walk, an inspiring evening of fellowship, awareness, and community spirit β culminating in a citywide illumination to mark Vancouverβs official Proclamation of World Polio Day.

Start Time: 5:00 PM sharp (consider arriving 15 minutes early)

Start Location: Vancouver City Hall (front steps)

End Location: ~5:30 PM at Science World

Highlight Moment: At 5:30 PM, Science Worldβs dome will light up in Rotary red and purple, symbolizing the fight to end polio.
Rotaractors in reflective vests will guide walkers along the route. The walk will be led by Ron Suzuki! - our District Rotaract Chair (and Past President of Vancouver Young Professionals Rotaract) β and there will be bagpipes!
ποΈ World Polio Day Proclamation
At the conclusion of the walk, the Mayor and City Councillors will officially proclaim October 24 as World Polio Day in the City of Vancouver, presented to Past District Governor Drew Antrobus and District Polio Chair Matt Caparas.
