The Rotary Club of Vancouver Sunrise is holding its annual Hoop-a-thon event on April 25th 2026 at the Strathcona Community Centre, where we will be joined by Rotary Clubs from the Lower Mainland and we will be shooting baskets raising funds for the Rotary Club of Vancouver Sunrise’s Youth Services Projects. All money raised will go towards Scholarships, Leadership Development and Training, Strathcona Basketball Program and Recreation Equipment.

Since its beginnings in 2007, the annual Rotary Hoop-a-thon has raised over $667,000 for the young people in East Vancouver, their basketball program and community service projects, along with major scholarships towards a wide range of educational pursuits. Since 2013, there have been 100 scholarships totaling $265,000 assisting young people in their journey and future careers.
