Rotary Moment:
Vicente Asuncion brought us the Rotary Moment today, he put forward the idea that another option to go to the Rotary International convention is to sign up as a volunteer, there is even a website where Rotarians can sign up: http://rotary2018.org/volunteer

Meeting Program: Today our guest speaker was our member Abigail Turner giving us her classification talk. These talks are always very interesting as we get to know our fellow members a lot better.
Some of the many interesting details about her life are:
* She had her first contact with Rotary as a teen when she attended RYLA.
* She was a Rotary ambassadorial scholar in Bristol
* She joined our club in 1994.
Thought of the day:
Charles Dickens — 'No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.'
