Rotary Moment:
 
Vicente Asuncion brought us the Rotary Moment today, he put forward the idea that another option to go to the Rotary International convention is to sign up as a volunteer, there is even a website where Rotarians can sign up: http://rotary2018.org/volunteer
 
Announcements:

* Hoopathon coming April 28th, time to go full speed ahead and get pledges!
 
* 2019 Rotary Peace Fellowship. Applications are due to the district by May 31st.

Meeting Program: Today our guest speaker was our member Abigail Turner giving us her classification talk. These talks are always very interesting as we get to know our fellow members a lot better.
 
Some of the many interesting details about her life are:
 
* She had her first contact with Rotary as a teen when she attended RYLA.
 
* She was a Rotary ambassadorial scholar in Bristol
 
* She joined our club in 1994.
