February kicked off with a visit from District Conference co-chairs Bob Mackerricher & Roy Prevost to promote the event to club members. The theme for this year's Rotary District 5040 Conference is "Connecting Clubs and Communities," and it's being hosted at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, just a stone's throw from our regular meeting venue in Coal Harbour.
The highlight for this year's conference will be a feature presentation about our signature community project, the Rotary Hoop-A-Thon for Local Communities.
