Congratulations to Frances and Ken Kolotyluk on the celebration of their 60th anniversary in September!
On September 27th, Frances also delivered a captivating presentation to our members on about her achievements as an educator and lifelong reader, as well as the contributions that she and Ken have made to Rotary education and literacy projects - a labour of love indeed!

On September 30th, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Ron joined the youth and mentors of the Girls Who LEAP program for a day of learning and reflection.
The program included a traditional Indigenous meal, a Sharing Circle with Haida Nation Elder and Knowledge Keeper Amanda White who shared her story as a residential school and Indian day school survivor, and Amanda Leo (Lil'Wat Nation) and Baby Devlyn who led and shared the significance of dreamcatchers in Indigenous culture.

On September 18th, some of our club members joined peers from the Vancouver Mountainview Rotary Club to learn about the Bread Brigade service project with Cob's Bread on Robson. Stay tuned for more updates!

Kudos to President Peter Fox for navigating reverse time zones and the pesky local wildlife to keep our club's business and teamwork on track during his visit with family in Australia.
