On November 8th, we shared some family experiences of war and military service as we approached Remembrance Day. Members shared stories of a perilous swim for survival in the Philippines during the Japanese bombing campaign and occupation, parents meeting across continents during World War II, protecting family from being drafted into wartime danger, and veteran family members serving at home in Canada. Lest we forget, indeed!
